There are lots of goodie bags scattered over Elliot & Bill sims for the reopening. Some are free - some are $1L (there are more on Elliot than Bill) - one of the bags is from The Plastik - it costs $1L and is full of goodies including this Elf Skin with Ears and Eyes and the Gloves I am wearing.

I shopped some new hair from Anaphora today - Ana. I love it - comes with a texture change beanie and one of the texture options (shown) is a plain knit that you can tint as you wish :)

Also what I love about this hair is the fact the pack I bought (naturals) gives you 6 colour choices from blonde to rich brown and a redish shade so no need to buy 3 packs of hair to get blonde, brown and red. The pack of 6 was $300L a good deal I think.

I downloaded the latest version on Kirsten's viewer and I am having a shadow problem with it :( When I enable shadows, on my screen my avatar looks all a blur so I couldnt really see the picture I took - however when I opened it in PS it was clear - odd .......

As you may already know, Ricielli is having a $20L sale on all red items in store for a short time - I picked up a few things including the Petra Minidress. I am wearing the top of the Petra dress with the $50L Friday skirt from Deco's Evening Dress in Olive. I also bought the same dress in cherry when it was on $50L Friday - the top part of the dress will not work for me at all but I do like the skirts very much so I am happy.

I love Christmas - but it is an expensive time of the year - in both lives. I told myself I would avoid red or green posts this month but already I am breaking my own rules!

I was at Milk Motion today looking to see if I could find the With Love Hunt prize as I did see someone (sorry can't remember the blog) make a post showing a cute skin as the gift. Anyway I could not find the item but I did see a cute cardi - and bought it in red (well 'tis the season). It comes with a sculpted bottom part which I am not wearing.

Later I was wandering around Tram and saw a sweet little dress that I thought would look cute with the cardi but it was only in Navy or White - of course I checked and saw they are modify (yay) so I grabbed the white and turned it red :)

The LB shoes from Luce were just the right shade so easy shoe choice.

Umm yeah sorry for the title but this outfit from Mimikiri made my brain attack me with quotes from "Galaxy Quest"!!!

The skirt, top and jacket all all from the Holly range Mimikiri - top and skirt in the version Galaxy - and Jacket in Black. I think it is a lovely set - now all I need to do is find some nice Christmas parties where they serve plum pudding :)

I had been trying to do the 52 weeks of color challange today - but all the "plums" in my inventory are of various shades of some sort of purplish from lilac to dark purple so I am counting the hair I am using in this post as my "plum challange" - it is from Boon and is in Purple - but it looks like a deep victoria plum shade to me - that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

I am loving Jane - for 2 days (starting yesterday) all her stuff - yes EVERYTHING - is 50% off - I'm wearing a cardi from there - she makes lovely clothes and nothing is expensive even at full price - so if you miss the sale dont worry you can still shop there without spending vast amounts :)

I love the skybox from Awesome Blossom for the WLH - it is well made and really cute and cosy.

I also love Vent Du Sud - if you haven't been there GO! ALL furniture and knick Knackie stuff is only L$1 - I got a few items including the bed in the picture above.

My leggings are from Deetalz WLH prize - it is a good prize most certainly worth the money - you get leggings, dress and scarf

I'm also feeling love for Blur Mannequin - I am wearing some cute feather eye makeup which I got under the tree for 45l - it came with some cute shoes too. All Beeman's stuff is inexpensive so if you havent visited go take a look for nice poses and a few bits and bobs without breaking the bank.

I have to say that after how much I have looked forward to the With Love Hunt I am feeling dissapointed - I have only done 4 stores (not in order) and at home opened 3 of the items and decided to stop hunting until I see some more pics of the items on blogs and go only for those that I will like.

The three I opened were:

1. Mortanique - after buying the nice chair yesterday I was hoping for a nice piece of furniture - instead it is a picture - now it is well made but - I was kinda "meh" when I saw it.

2. The next item I opened was the snowglobe from La Petit Mort - now I had seen that blogged and it looked fun - but in fact it comes with only one pose and that is on a poseball - again not a badly made item but not as good as I had hoped for.

3. I then opened the Callie CLine one - and was so dissapointed - the box said "Awesomeness" and I was quite hopefull - but inside were a collar and cuffs in black and white :(

The above is just how I felt about the items - other people may love them.

So back to my inventory - oh and hair I bought from CLawtooth today for $50L Friday - the only item on that list I got today.

In RL it is a beautiful day - cold, frosty and the winter sun is shining :)

I shopped again in SL today - I have been looking at the new sweaters from fume for a few days and decided I would just get one today - in my inv I found leggings (maybe from a hunt) from fume as well.

I added my white knit boots from Anexx and the hair and scarf are from Maitreya Voluminous Scarf. The skin is from Dekade - Claire from past TDRB collection.

I took the picture at World's End - I loved the chair from Mortanique so I went over there and bought one too - nice poses in it :)

Arrrgh!!!! It's only two days until the start of the With Love Hunt, then there is the Peace on Earth Hunt - and I'm sure many many more- I need to accept my inventory will never be sorted out on time.

This time however with the hunts I am going to try to only search maybe 2 or 3 items at a time, go home, unpack, try on and sort as I go along - well that's the plan but I will probably not stick to that!

I'm going to continue to try to open all my unopened boxes and view all my unviewed items in folders - its been fun finding stuff I didnt even remember having - and good to get rid of a lot of stuff I just would never use.

Fell off the wagon and bought some boots

I went along to Sebbia to stalk the lucky board there for the cute little boots - but after my two day stalk of Mother Goose I decided just to cough up the money and buy the boots - well they were only 100L, very cute and modifiable so why wait :) - I purchased in beige and have modded to a darker brown shade for this outfit. (the boots in the LB are dark brown - you need a group tag to get the boots)

I found this cute coat from *BP* that I had tucked away in my inventory - I love duffle coats - I bought it ages ago (last year I think) so I do not remember how much it was - but I like it a lot and was glad to have found it again.

I was distracted from my mission to organise my inventory by this beautiful skin by Mother Goose in one of the many Lucky Boards at her shop. I stalked it for 2 days! But I think it is worth it - it is called Oyat. Actually I got the demo and I would have purchased one of these but it is only available in fat pack - but that comes with 3 shapes and loads of versions of this skin for 900L - so it is still a bargain ... I may give in to temptation next month when I buy more lindens :)

I was worried that 50L Friday would weaken my resolve not to shop but to sort my inventory - but I was good - I only shopped the Boston boots from Reek.

Mission to sort my inventory - Day 3

I have managed to get my inventory down to just over 20k - it's still a mess but it has been fun looking at some of the stuff I have - and wondering "Why on earth do I have this???" many times!!

I found a whole load of free stuff from the gift section at KMADD - a section where designers who have a space there put out some gifts. Most of it is for men - so why did I take them??? a. I seem unable to pass a free item without grabbing to take a look, and b. sometimes men's stuff works well for us girls too.

Anyway if you havent been there (especially if you have a male avi) it's worth a pop along to have a look. I found, in the stuff I had from the KMADD free section, teeshirts from Reek - the folder has both male and female :)

I expect loads of you are like me in that we buy sooo many things, do hunts, get group gifties etc and never get around to wearing half the stuff in our inventory. My inventory management is non existant and my linden balance very low!

Sooo I have decided to make an effort to go each day into my inventory and make an outfit from things I already have - well this is the plan but I bet I still shop more!

Today here is what I pulled out of the wreckage:

The top is from Line - I got this at DU4 - I bought both black and white - have previously worn the white but forgot about the black!

The skirt is a group gift from Coco - Coco is a great group - many gifts and they stay up in store on a wall for ages so you dont miss them.

The shoes are Maitreya - shanti - I bought the fat pack at the 50% off sale and I do wear them a lot

The skin is from Dutch Touch - it is Yri in caramel - I was tempted to buy the V2 Joilie skins today - but I have them in the V1 in fat pack in 2 tones so I resisted. Anyway, it is possible to revamp skins now with all the wonderful makeups in tattoo layers :)

Talking of which I am wearing Glamorize soft smoke eyeshadow in soft gold and Glamorize eyeline in Supercat. Also wearing Cheap makeup lashes - tattoo layer and Prim Lashes by Glow Studio - innocent.

This new release from Clawtooth is soooo cute. It is called "Could I resist" and no I could not :)

It has been all over the feeds that Mariposa is closing :( I went along and got a few items including a really nice sky box for only $5l. I have only taken one picture as I need to dig into my inv and look for some furniture - I have just stuck a couple of things in to take the pic so it doesnt look too bare!

The sky box has a control system for the windows, floor (carpet, tile or wood option on floor), door locking and lights - the lights can be changed to many different colours.

It has a balcony and a nice little entrance hall - the main section is one large room - but the skybox is modifiable so you could add a second room - or whatever you wish.

The textures in the build are nice - I like this skybox alot :)

BelleBelle Bones Hunt

Hello all - it's been a while since I last blogged - have been taking a break - but I have just done the Belle Belle bones hunt and had to blog about it.

If you havent done the BelleBelle Bones Hunt - do it fast! It was only scheduled to run 31st Oct and 1st Nov - so it ends today.

There are a lot of goodies to find - some really really nice - including Guapos Kitchen and Mr Sandman (I blogged Mr Sandman before)

I also found a bone that gave me the BelleBelle Naughtylus skybox. It is a really cool and well detailed Steampunk Skybox with an undesea scene and animated fishies (it also comes with an excite compatible sex couch for those who may have use for it!!).

I had a busy day both RL and SL. I did manage to finish the seasons' hunt - well there were a few I couldnt find but I got most. I havent opened all yet - but from the ones I have some were great, others good and well some not good - but out of all the hunts I have done lately I think this has been the best for me.

Of course this last weekend has been full of great stuff - 50L F, PT (not so many good things for me in this PT but a couple) and Spruce Up Your Space Pt 2 for September. I keep meaning to tidy my inventory - but each time I start I lose the will to live!

I was doing the Red Seal Hunt today and I came across a shop called: Love, Ashley and found this "Low Budget K-9 Costume" - I just had to have it!

Here is info about it from the notecard:
The costume body and head are constructed of old boxes. A cardboard tube serves as K-9's neck, a fork and spoon play the role of his data-collecting antenna, and a cut-up plastic cup gives his nose a little shape and hides his powerful nose laser. Everything is entirely custom textured and nearly all is hand-drawn.
The costume comes with a handful of sound and interactive features that respond only to the owner of the costume. From a menu-driven interface, you can trigger K-9 to recite many well-known phrases from the show, which he will also recite via text chat if desired. A laser sound from his nose is also available and when your avatar walks forward or backward, K-9's motors will automatically come to life (also optional).

The picture is taken in my Tardis (yes I admit it - I have a Tardis!!!) - this is the Eccleston/Tennant Console Room by New London Systems - if you like Doctor Who you will see how well done the textures and prim works are in this :) It is also functional - but I am a lazy time traveller and have just rezzed my console and have not even started to read the manual on how it all works - one day I will .....

If you look down a couple of posts ago you will see I blogged using Kunglers' Jolie Grape Dress Skirt. I had said I was a little sad as the top was only in Jacket layer - I love to layer. Anyway - Barbra Kungler IM'd me saying she has now added a shirt layer to the dresses!!! YAY. Also she very kindly sent me the dresses in all colours so double YAY!

Shown below is the Jolie Red Dress (the colours are more defined when you see the dress in SL - they are muted in this pic due to the curve effect I used in post processing)

I am wearing it with the cosy cardi from Reek for today's L$50 Friday and have included a back view without the cardi to show the pretty back of the dress. The dress also has shoulder prims which I am not wearing and the sleeve prims come in both up and down versions - I am wearing the "down" version.

I love Twin Peaks - all that damn fine cherry pie, coffee and of course owls that are not as they seem. When I was at Mijn.t a little while ago I found this cute sweater - called "My Log Has Something to Tell You" and this little bag called "The Owls are not What they Seem" so I had to have them. I have had these "Brit Pants" from LeeZu in my inv for a while now but never seemed to be able to find a top to wear with them - until DU4 where I found this = Amyp top by :::Line::: that I think works :). The pants are really nice and the prim parts fit well on my shpae - no adjustment at all (yay - cause I am a lazy adjuster)

Well I thought I had got the hang of shadows - but then Kirstens viewer started just giving me a black screen when I enabled - it turned out I had an old version of the viewer - so I have the latest and I love it now I am getting used to the lay out etc. But I am NO GOOD AT SHADOWS lol. Will need to wait until Strawberry Singh is feeling better so I can look at her tutorial that she promises to make :)

Having tried viewer after viewer since the demise of Emerald I finally think I have found the one I like for photographs - Kirstens Viewer. I found Imprudence good for a lot of things - but I crashed all the time on high rez pics, Emergence and Phoenix were slow and laggy for me - so Kirsten's it is. I must admit it will take me some time to get used to it - but I love the shadows feature - and it seems stable :)

Anyway, I was going to try to take a load of pictures at a desert sim - Dune RP based - I was just messing about with the sky settings and taking some shots when a Sand Worm came and killed me and I was TP'd home lol.

So I got one shot and it is not the greatest but I'm going to keep working with this until I can get better shots.

Well onto the one picture I took:

I have been to hair fair a couple of times - really people ditch the scripted objects and uber primmy hair and clothes - no one is looking at you - honest - we are all too busy trying to see a vendor which wont rez because of all the lag!!!!

I love the Exile dreads - I got two packs, one in Dark Browns and one in Dark Blondes.

The picture above is one of the Dark Blonde shades. I am also wearing a cardigan from Pig (I relented and bought one of the spring timeish items from DU4), Chinos from Shampoo, Undershirt from Miel, Skin from Dutch Touch and the cute bag is from Deco - I love this - it also has a paper plane attachment - the plane is scripted to kill - oh why did I not fling one at the dratted worm????

I have been looking forward to Designers United 4 for ages. The sim was really busy this morning but I managed to get in and did some shopping - some of the items I wanted had not yet been set for sale so I'll be going back later.

I shopped a few items - some will need major adjustemts to my avi size however so I'll take my time over them and post later. A lot of the items for sale are very spring like - well not surprising as the theme is narcissus - but as I said before I am in my autum winter mood I only shopped the darker coloured items - but many of the yellow ones are just beutiful too.

This outfit I am showing is from Tram - and it fitted perfectly with no adjustments - YAY!!! It caught my eye right away and I am glad I snapped it up.

While many of the summer fashions in SL this year have been wonderful, I am now looking forward to the autumn and winter seasons. I have started my shopping already and have found some things that I really like. For this post I have selected some items in warm browns.

Skin - Dutch Touch - Jolie Smokey in Caramel

Pants - LeLutka Wool Pants - these look great and the prims match in wonderfully without any lumps that I sometimes find in prim legs - the only thing is that I think these pants were made before one did not have to tint prims grey to make them match with the clothing layer - so they needed modified back to no additional colour.

Boots - Bax - this picture does not show these boots up well at all - and for this I apologise. These boots are amazing - they are Bax Ankle boots. This is the brown suede pack and it gives you the option of 4 main shades of brown - and just about every part is texture change - oh and you can have fur tops on or off! So this is like having loads of sets of boots all in one - a real bargain.

I have so many new things in my inventory due to all the sales and wonderful new releases so here a few.

First up - new Dutch Tough Yri skins - I bought 4 and got the VIP gift skin. The one shown below is called Blue Line in Cotton - part of a duo pack at $1,500.

Miel also has some newness out today - the Dandy Dress and Dandy Boots. I bought the uber dress - changes to all shades and floral and plains. I also bought the boots but have not shown them in this post - but they are really nice and are texture change.

I haven't blogged for ages - yet I have shopped sooo much - and of course my inv is now such a mess I can hardly remember what I bought and where I put it!

Anyway one of the many things I have bought is the 4 new sets of photography props from Virtual Props and Poses. Until the end of this week there is a special offer on where one can purchase a set of four beachy type props with tons of poses for a special price of L$3k. The sets are Beach, Lost, Fireflies and Volleyball.

I've been redoing my SL home recently but I took a little break from home and garden shopping to get some new clothes.

I first went to Stiletto Moody to grab the Look of the Day Color Set - this is the second color set I have bought (normally I just buy one pair at a time - but the look of the day has had 55% off the color set so it is just too much of a great bargain to pass up!!!)

Then I TP's over to mimikri to take a look around and I bought quite a few items there. I am going to show you a couple of them in this post - no doubt the others will appear at some time too.

The dress is from Mimikri - I dont have many system skirts in my inv - and I think I should get some more. With the right shape and provided they are well made they can look really good. I certainly love this little dress. The leggings shown are also from Mimikri.

Ok so further to my grumbles on my previous post, here is the skin I was talking about from Mynerva.

As you can see it is a cute little Geek skin - has a lot good about it I think - and it wasnt very expensive so I do not regret buying it but OMG - those nipples are just sooo badly done - I just do not understand why a reasonable skin creator would make such a bad job of one part of a skin :(

Ok that title does not relate to this post - but I was too lazy to think of one that does :(

I have done a lot of shopping recently - but havent posted as

1. I am crashing a lot and

2. I have been quite dissappointed in some of the things I have bought.

One of the things I can remember offhand is a pair of high waist jeans and a top from the Dressing Room - by R.icielli. Anyway the top is just AWFUL - all white lines round the texture.

Another thing was a skin from MYNERVA - now the skin is nice - it is cute and for the most part well made - but the nipples look like they have been squashed by a steam roller! Ok I should have looked before I bought - but the demo in the shop was nice and I was too lazy to go home and examine the whole body. However as I dont run around SL naked I will use the skin. I will post soon using it to show what I mean.

So last grumble of this post. I went along to the Summer of Love Fair. I really didnt like the shopping there - it was so messy. But I did buy the Ugly Duck Glastonbury skin - kinda wish I had bought the one with the orange flower now lol - maybe I'll go back and get it too.

Clawtooth Summer Sale

I have sooo many clawtooth hairs - but that didnt stop me diving over to take advantage of the fabulous Bubbles' great 50% off sale! My bestest friend, Ren, came with me and we shopped quite a few.

Ren had been shopping on her own (grrr how could she leave me behind???!!) and got this really nice sheer knit in baby blue from CE Cubic Effect - I really like it - maybe she wont mind if I go get one later - in another colour. As it was I wanted to sort of match in with her and I found a little dress in my inventory from Runo Runo (think it was free or no more than 10L) that I liked.

Ahhhrggh - just looked again at this pic and see I did not "tweek" my feet to right match when I changed my lighting - sorry - these slink feet usually look much better when I do them right :(

Boom did a really great job for Project Themory yesterday - one of the items was this really nice sky box. It is not at all "girly" so it is nice to see somethings that the boys can enjoy grabbing too.

But of course I am a "girly" girl so I edited the upstairs! I used the PT textures from Moo to redo the walls and soon messed up the place with lots of my stuffs!

DP YumYum has a new release out. This adorable little summer dress. It comes in yellow or pink and has two options to buy. The first is the dress only and the second is the dress with a hat and shoes.

I elected to buy the dress only in yellow as I have in my inventory quite a few hats and in fact I selected a hat I had previously shopped from DP YumYum to wear with my new dress.

Ooooh have you all grabbed the SLink boots on today's Fifty Linden Friday tour? I did and just love them.

I know the new Aoharu shirts and skirts have been blogged all over - but they go so well with my new boots that I just had to wear them.

Goosey Goosey Gatcha!

There is a Gatcha fair on at Albero just now so I had to make a visit as I cant resist them!

There are loads of Gatchas - advertised as 55 - so there may be something you want to have a try at:) I'm not sure if all are out yet as I saw some empty stalls (Miel and Mocha have stalls but nothing there as yet so I'm going to go back tomorrow to see if they place a Gatcha)

I got this nice hair and hair band from Tiny Bird. I also got a really sweet little sky box - I'm going to furnish it and then take some pics.

I also got a new skin today from Mother Goose - only $300L and I like it a lot - it's called Margaret - comes in 6 options - the one I bought is No. 2. There is a shape to go with the skin for $100L but for me it was too much of a Child shape so I am wearing my own shape.

Did my usual tour of the "fifty linden friday" offerings yesterday and Reek's wooden saddle horse made me want to go all cowgirl! So I got all kitted up and set off in search of a western themed sim to play .. and what did I find ... a "ghost town"

I took a wander round and found an old deserted shack and decided to claim it! I rezzed my saddle horse and sat down armed with my trusty shotgun from the gacha at Vooner ready to shoot or at least wave my gun in a threatning way at any land thievin' varmints that came my way.

this sim allows rez so it is good for photos. It has quite a few things to do - like gold panning, rodeo, places of interest, ghosts and some evil bears and cougars which are scripted to attack! Fortunately you can grab a scripted shotgun and pistol for free there along with a damage meter so you can RP.

... and the other day I found a cool place called Roadkill Rabbits !!!!! (no no dont worry - not one flat squashed bunny in sight).

At Roadkill I found loads of cute bunnies of all breeds and fur and eye shades - and plenty of nests if you like to have your bunnies from babies. The nests are all set out neatly in breed types and fur shades and show which have gem eyes - so it's easy to find what you want there. Also a discount bunny nest section upstairs - I think most are $100L - well the ones I clicked were.

But then I spotted a game - Zen Bunny - it was $25L minimum to play - and if you achieve the required score you get double your lindens and a bunny nest (and a good one - not a common one) Anyway I played a few games and won 3 nests!!!! Yay.

The game gave me boxes as receipts and I had to contact the owners for the nests. I contacted LillyAnne Crystal and she very quickly responded and took a lot of time with me asking what kind of bunnies I wanted until we had decided on 3 perfect nests for me. Great customer service :) LillyAnnne also told me that soon they will be able to automatically give the nests rather than the receipt system.

I loved the 50L offering from LAP this week - a cute mini kiddie pool for one - it comes with 3 poses and is so cute (also a male version available) and for those who don't like to get their feet we LAP also has out two sets of poses for male and female avis for 50L :)

I also grabbed the Clawtooth 50L hair offering today - two nice vintage styles :)

Today wandering around looking for some new furniture for my photography studio I met a friendly racoon at Mocha:

I then wandered into the shop and found the perfect item for a workaholic sheep .. this desk/bed:

When you get sleepy there is an animation in the chair to let you have 40 winks at your desk.

Or if you need a real snooze you can pop up onto the bed on top. (The pose used here is not from the bed as the sleep pose did not work with the sheep avi)

Of course you dont have to be a workaholic or a sheep to enjoy furniture from Mocha. There is also this option available - a sofa posed for two avatars with a bed on top.

On the bed there is only one pose - but it is a big bed so plenty of room for your friends to come and join you for a pajama party :)

Hounds and Elephants

SL Time v's European Time causes me to have long waits for many things .. such as the new range of Hounds of Love Skins by &Bean. On Sunday I waited and waited for the main shop to reopen - in fact I went back and forward from 12am SL time until it was time for me to go to my zzzzzzz in RL time - but on waking up on Monday morning the shop was all redone and the skins were set for sale - and yes I think the wait was worth it :) I bought 3 plus the 3 set to $50L.

I think the faces are beautiful - the body - well not so very detailed but it is nice enough and for me the faces on these skins make up for it.

Below I am showing the Hounds of Love LIGHT Rav - really pretty skin with very little make up but lovely red lips. I also wanted to show you the sweet little Elephant Chair from Kurotsubaki - it comes with 3 poses and also a mini elephant with 4 poses - so cute :)

Or just want to create a certain space that shuts off the outside world? I have mainland which can be very messy round about my place. I have tried screens - solid ones are just too flat to look nice and one with any transparancy can affect other items such as trees or windows etc because of the alpha issues on SL.

So I was really delighted to find some stunning sim border creations by FelixvonKotwitz Alter on xstreet. I TP'd over to his place and I was even more pleased when I saw his work in world (pictures can not do it justice)

I bought a set of 16 sculpted mountains with trees, flowers, waterfalls, bridges, sunbeams, little house dooors set into rocks, staircases - and I could go on there is so much in them! THe highest prim piece is 7 prims!!!!! Yes only 7 (I can hardly believe it). They are 20x20x3 and all copy and the whole set was only $795L

Today so far has been a good day for me on SL. First one of my Ozimals Bunnies - Ellie - had her first baby bunny yay! Then I got a group gift from Miel - the hair that she had put out on the Deck. Now I know the lag was awful and many of you may not have managed over to the Deck Celebrations so it was so nice of her to give this out to her subscribo group.

***QUICK UPDATE *** - I just noticed that the skin I am wearing is less than half price at this location : http://slurl.com/secondlife/Tableau/91/114/27 - I paid $800L for it but all FD skins are $300L at Tableau just now - so I shopped more lol. Notice says until 10th May but they are still priced at $300L just now so RUN RUN RUN if ya want them cheap - they are cute :)

It seems that SL hates me today and unless I comply with it's evil masters and log in with viewer 2, I am lagged to virtual death :( But I stuck with emerald and managed finally to clean up some of my inventory and get dressed in some of the things I have lurking in there.

Today I went along to Sixty Nine to take a look at the new release hair - and of course I shopped one! This one is called Echo and it is a lovely soft face framing style that put me in the mood to make a romantic soft outfit to wear with it.

I looked into my inventory and found this dress from Oyakin which I shopped in February and had forgotten about. I love it and am pleased I have found it again. This style is called Antique-onp in mint.

Mandala Jewelery

I was browsing some fashion blogs today and I came across a post from Vanity http://iheartsl.com/author/vanity/ with an amazing necklace from Mandala called Hannya that I fell in love with.

Soooo I TP's over to Mandala and bought said necklace - it is wonderful. The only thing is - I bought it in gold and when I opened the package the set for smaller avatars (while it said Gold) was the black set. But never mind - it means I have both black and gold so all is good :)

While there I took a look around and found the most wonderful set of bangles which have bangles, rings and nails for both hands as one item for each hand - and they are really well made. Again a slight problem. The set for size 10 hands do not seem to have been fitted so could be an issue for very small avatars - I am wearing the set for size 20 hands and they fit perfectly. This set is called Takara - I think it is beautiful.

Oh and my eyes are closed - this was not an attempt to copy the post from Vanity (tho I did go buy the Dutch Touch Skin she was wearing!) but a failure on my part to take a picture with them open!!!

Talking of which - my photo does not do this jewelery justice - it is really lovely :)

Pulling Your Hair Out??????

I have to say I like when hair is modifiable by normal SL editing methods as it is nice to be able to move a strand or two one way or another. BUT I also love the convienience of resize scripts in hair to do the main editing.

So a little find I have made is really useful. It is called Script Injector and Script Cleaner. As hair can be made of a zillion prims (hyperbole much!) - tho much is over 100 prims, it is not a nice thought to need to place the resize script in every prim. Script Injector puts in your script into all the prims (of course the controller script need only go into the root prim). So if you have hair, shoes, skirt oh anything that is mod you can pop in your resize script to all prims with ease.

Script Injector does not include a resize script - it is only the script for dropping scripts - but in my opinion a great little script to own.

It costs $500L for a retaillers version (so you can sell the item if you are a creator) and $250L for personal use.

Going Dutch

After all the badness of SL over the last two days I am a happy girl again. I am sure most of you know all about Fifty Linden Fridays - this week I got some hair from Clawtooth that I love and to make things even better Dutch Touch sent out a group gift skin that goes so well with the hair :) The picture is not great as I crashed several times trying to take the shot - but at least we can all log in again :)

I have not looked at the body on this skin as yet but I do like the face. I remember when Dutch Touch first started skins and I did not like them - this face however I do like so I must revisit Dutch Touch skins and get some demos and see how they have progressed.

I love Clawtooth hair - it is quirky and fun. If you have not yet visited Clawtooth maybe you should have a peek :)

The eyes in this picture are the Spring Meadow free eyes from Poetic Colors - so very pretty.
